Imran Khan Distances Himself from Social Media Propagandists

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has publicly distanced himself from social media accounts involved in spreading propaganda against Arab countries, his wife Bushra Bibi, and the party’s martyrs. This announcement was made by his lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, on Wednesday after meeting with Khan in Adiala Jail.

Chaudhry conveyed that Imran Khan condemned the propaganda and clarified that those responsible had no affiliation with PTI. “Imran Khan has condemned the social media propaganda against Arab countries,” Chaudhry stated. “He has also dissociated himself from accounts targeting Bushra Bibi and the martyrs.”

Additionally, Chaudhry revealed that Khan had established a committee, led by Qazi Anwar, to investigate the issue of the party’s missing persons. The committee is expected to complete its report by Sunday. Khan has directed the party to prioritize the missing persons issue.

When questioned about the PTI’s negotiating team being denied a meeting with Khan, Chaudhry remarked that such actions were tantamount to sabotaging the negotiations.
