PPP Prepares for Major Overhaul Ahead of Bilawal Bhutto’s Lahore Rally

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is gearing up for a significant organizational overhaul in preparation for Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s upcoming rally in Lahore, scheduled for March. Syed Hasan Murtaza, the Central Punjab General Secretary, has directed the party’s subsidiary organizations to finalize their arrangements.

During a meeting at the PPP Central Punjab Secretariat, Murtaza emphasized the importance of establishing organizational units within the People’s Students Federation (PSF) and the Sports Wing. Tayyab Chattha, President of the Sports Wing, announced plans for divisional-level Sports and Youth Festivals, with a detailed roadmap to be presented by December 6. Rana Rafaqat added that the organizational structures at the provincial, divisional, and district levels would be completed by February 1.

Musa Khokhar, President of PSF Central Punjab, revealed that divisional tours are being coordinated with party officials to strengthen the organization’s presence. Murtaza also instructed the Sports Wing to reorganize at the district level, fill vacant positions, and organize worker conventions at both the district and divisional levels.

Prominent attendees at the meeting included Ahsan Rizvi and office bearers of the Sports Wing and PSF, such as Tayyab Chattha, Sabir Kasuri, Nasira Kafeel, Musa Khokhar, Hafiz Amir Shehzad, Hafiz Luqman, Mian Atiq, Rana Rafaqat, Tanveer Jatt, Naseem Sabir, and Mudassir Shakir.
