PTI Aide Denies Establishment’s Involvement in Islamabad Unrest

ISLAMABAD – A close aide of PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has denied any involvement of the establishment in the recent unrest in Islamabad, particularly the protest at D-Chowk, as reported by Express News on Monday.

Reports indicate that sources close to Barrister Gohar have disclosed critical information about the events surrounding PTI’s November 24 ‘final’ protest. According to these sources, Barrister Gohar revealed in a court meeting with the PTI founder that Imran Khan had given a direct order to protest at Sangjani. He emphasized that, contrary to claims of institutional interference, the establishment was not responsible for the events in Islamabad.

Before the operation at D-Chowk, Barrister Gohar had attempted to persuade PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur to attend the Sangjani protest. As the situation began to spiral out of control, he decided to meet with Imran Khan in jail to reassess the plan.

The PTI chairman claimed that all matters with the establishment had been settled, and if the situation had not deteriorated, Imran Khan would have been released soon. However, due to the chaotic events and subsequent protests, this release was delayed.
